I used to think golfing, skiing, and snowboarding were prohibitively expensive sports that only people with means could partake in. Serious cycling is another. I have dropped over $700 on biking stuff this past week and did not even replace my wheels which was supposed to be one of my big potential to-do's before La Vuelta PR. As a reminder i paid $860 for my bike. I cant imagine upkeep on one of those bikes that cost between $5,000 and $10,000.
La Vuelta is coming soon. I did a computrainer ride that was pretty cool this past Sunday but i cant shake the feeling that i am not mentally and physically ready for this. Be that as it may i will push myself to my limits to see what i am capable of.
When i get to PR i will test a GPS tracking app on this site as well as link photos, videos, and other information from my ride.
